I am Jedidiah Tottress
Owner and CEO of Watch Me Work Real Properties. We’re in the Houston, Texas market. My wife and I have always been passionate about real estate. We finally decided to pursue that passion about six years ago (2016). After nearly two years of studying and hesitation, we decided to pull the trigger. My wife became a real estate agent, and I wanted to explore the whole of it all and learn both sides of the industry, so I decided to start in real estate investing. The real estate investing experience is enriching but involves many tests and trials. As a newbie learning the process piece by piece, I wish I had knowledgeable and monetary help. Due to this ever-changing industry, I am confident that someone out there needs some help right now. So, I created this fundraiser as a blessing to new real estate investors. I know how hard it is to break into this industry, and I want to help those interested in it to step into their new careers comfortably. Real estate investing can be scary, as it was for me, and so many people ( not all) offer ways to “help” but seek to make money for themselves. They offer all these fantastic resources, then charge a substantial amount of money to obtain them, saying, “You should invest in your career if you want to be successful.” Now, I do agree with that phrase; it is valid to an extent. But what about the people who want to be successful but lack the means to obtain it? I have a special place in my heart for those types of people. The diamonds in the rough, because that was me. I was that gem. Always a day late and a dollar short of my goals. Feeling like a waste of talents and ability. So this fundraiser is for people like me. Every Real estate deal I’m doing, I’m putting money away to fund this cause. I aim to provide funding and ethical training so new investors can confidently enter this career field, conduct honest and ethical business practices, and make a living for their families.
